University Evangelical Free
began in 1978 when a local Evangelical Free Church spun off a second
congregation. The intent was for it to have a fairly equal number
of families and university students, but it was predominantly student
from the start. This creates a very unique feel to this body
of believers.
As of April 18th, 2004, University
Evangelical Free Church changed its name to Cornerstone Community
Church to a name that represents the dynamic body of believers.
Youthful, energetic and passionate about following Jesus Christ.
This body truly has the potential for changing the world by touching
lives in Pullman as so many move on to other places.
