Hello.  We are Steve and Lisa Nelson.  We have been serving in Louisiana and now Kansas for the past 15 months as part of the EFCA Crisis Response Team.  Our home base is in Covington, LA, but we have been spending a few months facilitating volunteers doing tornado relief and rebuilding in Greensburg, Kansas.  When we are not in Greensburg we are helping with the ongoing efforts of rebuilding in Southeastern Louisiana.  If you would like to know more about the efforts in Greensburg, Kansas please viist : /www.midwestefca.com/greensburg-home.html

 We are currently in the process of applying to do long-term overseas missions with the EFCA in the area of Community Health.  We would like to work specifically with water quality and nutrition.  We expect to be with Crisis Response for up to two more years as we begin the process of raising support for overseas ministry.
